Needs Met

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors for their generous support!

Kirubairani, a resident of Puthukudiyiruppu, is a mother of three and the sole breadwinner of her family after being abandoned by her husband. She supports her family through a small-scale business making and selling chilli powder. Her eldest son is a bright and hardworking student currently pursuing his Advanced Level (A/L) studies. Despite the family’s financial challenges, he continues to excel in his education. We are seeking support to help cover his educational expenses, which amount to 30 USD per month. Your assistance can make a meaningful difference in securing a better future for this promising young student.

She comes from a family of four. Her father, despite losing one eye and a leg, continues to work on a farm to support his family. His daughter is currently studying at Uva Wellassa University, and the family is struggling to meet her basic educational expenses. They are seeking modest monthly support of USD 40 per month to help her continue her studies without interruption. Any assistance — financial or through referrals to potential sponsors — would make a meaningful difference in her life and future.

The husband and father of the family has suffered a spinal cord injury, which has left him disabled and unable to work or provide for the family. This unexpected tragedy has deeply affected their livelihood and their children’s well-being. At this time, they are in urgent need of assistance in two areas: Support for their children’s education – A small contribution of $40 per month will help cover immediate educational needs and allow the children to continue their studies without interruption.
Reopening their small shop – Before the injury, the family operated a small shop that supported their daily needs. To restart this source of income, they require approximately $1,000 USD. Reopening the shop would restore dignity and self-sufficiency to the household.
