Our aim is to Provide immediate disaster relief to the helpless people living in rural villages in the North & Northeast. We provide immediate relief with essential items & continue to assist these families with post disaster relief in order to attain normalcy.
“People who were dependent on their daily wage were greatly affected due to COVID-19 pandemic. NOW WOW provided 5000 essential and dry food supplies to the people in Northeast to compensate for this loss of income. During the floods elderly people and children who could not leave their homes by themselves were rescued and placed in makeshift camps. Cooked food was provided to the people in the transit camps. Mosquito nets and essential dry food parcels were given to the victims returning home from transit camps. Exercise books and text books were also provided to students who had lost their school supplies.”
We are trying to help people in emergency situation. So we mainly focus on the problems listed below.

NOW-WOW’s mission is to restore a semblance of normalcy to the war-ravaged Tamil communities of North and East of Sri Lanka.
By undertaking projects to restore, educate, sustain and augment the income-generating capacity of the war-ravaged families who had lost their primary breadwinner in the civil war of Sri Lanka.
